Jamie McTaggart
Chief Operating Officer

Jamie McTaggart started his Quarrying / Mining career in the UK with Tilcon Ltd, and has managed operations for various industry leaders, including Tarmac and LaFarge. He attended Gateshead and Doncaster Colleges studying Business and later Quarrying / Mining from 1990 - 1994. Jamie McTaggart has also managed various projects and large scale mining / quarrying operations throughout the Middle East and Africa.

Jamie McTaggart joined FBS in 2008 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in December 2009. He is currently responsible for all Projects, Quarrying and Export Operations.

Captain Geoffrey Sizer
General Manager - Marine Operations and Human Resources

Captain Sizer's seagoing career spans almost 40 years and in this time he has sailed on practically every class of sea-going vessel. Some 25 years ago, he shifted his sea-going ambitions to tugs and salvage vessels, starting on the deck and working through the ranks to Master. Mr Sizer has sailed on ocean going and harbour tugs around the world, serving in the United Kingdom, the Persian Gul, the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, the Caspian Sea, Hong Kong and the Caribbean. Prior to joining FBS he was Project Manager in Indonesia for Hong Kong Salvage & Towage

Andrew Williams
General Manager - Finance

Andrew Williams joined FBS as General Manager Finance in 2010. Andrew graduated from Salford University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Finance and Accounting. Andrew is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He gained his qualification with Ernst and Young and has spent the last few years at a senior level in both retail and business services.

Ciaran Kearns
Workshop Manager

Ciaran Kearns joined FBS in 2009 as Assistant Quarry Manager and was later promoted to Workshop Manager, he started his career 12 years ago in Ireland working for Hudson Bros. LTD who are a large family run independent quarry operator and then moved to Australia supervising a large sand mine. Ciaran attended Athlone Institute of Technology where he obtained a bachelor of engineering degree in quarry management.

Gary Roberts
General Manager - Projects

Gary Roberts joined FBS in early 2009 as Maintenance Manager for all FBS workshops. He was later appointed Project Operations Manager and is currently responsible for the 54 million tonne Land Reclamation project in Fujairah. Gary has worked for some of the largest Mining and Quarrying businesses in the UK, Middle East and Asia.

Jeff Ridley
General Manager - Drilling, Blasting & Surveying

Jeff Ridley joined the company in 2008 and currently manages all Drilling, Blasting and Surveying operations for FBS. Jeff previously worked for Empire Rock as Production Manager in the UAE and held various Drill and Blast roles within LaFarge Aggregates UK.

Lisa Parkin
SHE and Quality Manager

Lisa Parkin is Safety, Health & Environment Manager and is also responsible for Quality Control. Lisa joined FBS in 2009 and has successfully completed her NEBOSH qualification whilst living in the UAE. She previously held positions as a Quarry Manager for LaFarge Aggregates UK and as a Logging Engineer Offshore for the Oil and Gas Industry. Lisa obtained a Honors Degree in Earth Sciences at Liverpool University and has completed IOSH, DAPS IOQ and NVQ Level 4 in SHE Management.

Graeme Parkin
Deputy Project Manager

Graeme Parkin is Deputy Project Manager for the Northern Project in Fujairah and is responsible for day to day operations on one of the largest Land Reclamation projects in the United Arab Emirates. Graeme joined the company in early 2009. Prior in his role as Deputy Project Manager, Graeme managed various UK operations in the North of England.

Richard Flaherty
Quarrying and Export Manager

Richard Flaherty has worked in and around quarries for more than 20 years. He has experience working in hard rock, sand and gravel and dimentional stone quarries. Before joining FBS as Quarry and Export Manager, Richard was the Operations Manager for Cemex's Isle of Man operations, This role included a Quarry, Workshop, Cement depot and two concrete plants. Before transferring to the Isle of Man, Richard gained quarrying experience at RMC aggregates, Stoke Hall Quarries and Blue Circle Cement.

Marin Paskovic
Reclamation Manager

Marin Paskovic joined FBS as Reclamation Manager in early 2010 for the 54 million tonne Fujairah Northern Land Reclamation Project. Marin has over 30 years of Marine Construction experience and has previously worked on key marine project's throughout the world, including Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
